Nat Raha is a poet and trans / queer activist, living in Edinburgh. She is the author of three collections of poetry: of sirens, body & faultlines (Boiler House Press, 2018), countersonnets (Contraband Books, 2013), and Octet (Veer Books, 2010). She’s performed and published her work internationally. Nat recently completed her PhD on queer Marxism and contemporary poetry at the University of Sussex, as is a postdoctoral researcher on the ‘Cruising the 70s: Unearthing Pre-HIV/AIDS Queer Sexual Cultures’ project at the Edinburgh College of Art. She is the co-editor of Radical Transfeminism zine.
Holly was born and raised in the former GDR, She studied music in Berlin and has worked since 1980 as an Instrumentalist, Composer, Lecturer and Producer. She toured with her own bands and as a guest soloist on all continents and participated in at least 100 CD productions – in 2018 she brought her trans identity to the public as the first German saxophonist in jazz.
